A fully accessible single storey architect designed house set within 1.6 acres of orchard and meadow. It is self-sustaining and fully electric and features the latest photo-voltaic and battery storage systems. Rough sawn timber cladding and exposed galvanised steelwork accompany polished concrete floors and full height glazing to create a raw and uncompromisingly modern aesthetic. The accommodation is split across two distinct buildings separated by an open courtyard space at the centre of the complex. A single roof form connects both parts and forms the covered entrance and a full width rear veranda.
The primary living space is fully glazed giving an uninterrupted view of the rear meadow through the covered veranda and across a 26 metre long native fish pond.
